With 130 branches across England, Wales and Northern Ireland and 5,500 trained volunteers supporting bereaved people, Cruse is the largest and the only organisation providing support to anyone bereaved by death - whoever they are, whatever their age, however or whenever their loved ones died.This year Cruse celebrates its Golden Jubilee. Founded in 1959, it has given support to bereaved people for 50 years - and will continue to be there. We are working hard to promote the work of Cruse and raise funds. Welsh Women's Aid is campaigning to end domestic abuse. Groups provide services for women and children experiencing domestic abuse. WWA runs the Wales Domestic Abuse Helpline, a free 24 hour, bilingual and confidential service with support and information for those experiencing domestic abuse.
DaBKA formed in 2008, to help and support renal patients in the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Area. The trustees and committee members are all renal patients. So far, we have donated information DVD's and a urinalysis machine to the Doncaster renal unit, as well as subsidising social events for patients.
