The ACLT aims to raise awareness and increase black, mixed race and ethnic minority representation on the world bone marrow registers and to promote blood donation. Blythe House Hospice

Situated in Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire, Blythe House Hospice is High Peak's only day-care hospice. The principal activity of the hospice is the provision of specialist palliative care services and support for people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and the extension of support to their families. A valued part of our service is our café. We provide a healthy meal five days a week including Sundays for our service users. This is not only an opportunity to have something to eat but also to access support from staff, participate in our various groups such as drumming, art, poetry and walking but also helps to expand on social networks which is so important as many of our service users feel isolated. <p> Once a week we provide a Women Only service, with gender specific activity. In addition we run a counselling group for women who have experienced trauma. We also provide volunteering opportunities in administration, catering and our befriending service.
